About Our Counseling Practice in Denver, CO and Surrounding Areas

About Mark

I am a licensed professional counselor candidate in the state of Colorado (LPCC # LPC0013809) and a registered psychotherapist (NLC0104487). I am also working towards a doctorate degree in psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology.

I was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Colorado three years ago (before pot was legal). My wife and I moved to Colorado to attend the University of the Rockies doctors in psychology program, which is almost completed.

I am also the founder of At Your Convenience Mental Health and Relationship Counseling of Denver (AYCMARC). I came up with concept of being open when most counseling centers are closed.

I also know that there are many individuals and couples who have problems getting to counseling because traditional counseling hours are inconvenient. I understand that life happens when most counseling practices are open. AYCMARC however lets you live life on your schedule not ours.

I also understand that there are people who feel unsatisfied and unappreciated at work and would like to receive career counseling. However, I understand that you cannot leave work when most career counselors are available. At AYCMARC we do not expect you to leave work early or stay in a rut. We will work around your schedule to help you explore career alternatives through testing and counseling.

At AYCMARC we believe that many mental health and relationship issues are just a symptom of something deeper. At AYCMARC we will help you get at the root of your symptoms while at the same time learning to cope with these symptoms.

Our goal is to help you become the best person you can be! Our logo describes our philosophy and is the foundation of my D.A.M. D.U.D.E.S. V.I.R.T.U.E approach.
About Our Logo
The words creating the circle represent the interventions used at AYCMARC. Every session includes both individual and interpersonal exploration. This exploration of individual and interpersonal mode of therapy requires introspection, which leads to finding the solution. The reverse is also true that individual and interpersonal exploration lead to greater intimacy which creates a safe environment for introspection. Introspection in return leads to the finding the solution you already possess. One of AYCMARC's goal is to help you recognize these solutions using the four I's method as seen in our logo and the colors used.
